I think I speak for many members here when I say I am just about over some bad behaviour on the forum. Like everyone I have had a spit at times but recently I personally feel, as do some others, that some of the comments and snipes are just getting out of control.
It is probably time that forum members...not Mods... took things into their own hands and requested from Mods bans to be applied to people whom constantly bring the forum into disrepute.

More than happy to hear your comments.

I agree R... And I'm sure that I would be near the top of a few members' lists.

I certainly believe there are a couple of members who do not contribute anything of use to the forum and simply come on to stir things along. The rules are there for everyone to abide by, if they are broken, penalties will be applied accordingly. Warnings don't seem to worry some people, it appears to some to be a badge of honour of some description so bannings will be more liberally applied in the future.

Just keep on the topic and keep personal attacks to PMs or email.

If youre not sure what was meant in a reply state your query without resorting to insults.

The reason i think this forum is great is because people are very knowledgable and are definatly willing to help anyone thats interested out. Compared to some of the other forumns cough CT cough this is an awesoem forum, and i agree keep any person issues to PM and all will be good

I think anyone should be free to reply to a topic whether it be beneficial or humorous so long as we abide by the rules,
oh and it is a full moon out.

Hehehehe, the full moon plays havoc at times. I was thinking that it is coming into that time of year again, seems to be a cycle of silliness around here.

What I dont contibute in technical issues, I more than make up for with nonsensical tom foolery. Dunno if that is offensive or not..... I hope not.

I know what you are saying Rory, I see deliberate attempts to stir the shit and rile members who bite easily and bite hard. At times I am tempted to have my little say and join in the fracus but I have learnt to leave well enough alone and watch from the sidelines. Sometimes it is entertaining, sometimes frustrating and annoying but more often that not it is none of my business.

I will say though, that this is one of the better behaved forums I have expirienced so I generally dont worry about the narky stuff as I know that as a whole I would rather hang out with you dudes than elsewhere.

I agree, there has been a few people around who just love stirring up shit, and don't really contribute anything.

You cannot just come on here, start stirring shit if no-one knows who you are... Do you just walk into a pub and start joining in teasing people and laughing at everyone? No... You would get your head knocked off your shoulders!

Before you type something, think about the reaction YOU would get if you said it to their face, just because someone else gets away with saying it, doesn't mean that you will.

Anyway, looks like this damn silly season is starting early again! Gets earlier every year!

Rory, The reason for mods is to moderate the forum, and while some of their actions I certainly dont agree with somethimes, they are like coppers, love em or hate depending on the situation. To say that members should have a say in who is banned is ludicrous !!!

I also hear many a time the comparison with saying what you type to someones face at a pub.... hardly a good example. It would be unlikely that some of the topics on here would have as many different view points at a local bar (particularly involved in a conversation)... that is the beauty of the forum, a very diverse range of people.. I personally would have no problem saying anything i type on here...

The biggest problem i find is that threads / posts are deleted, rather than closed, and so when someone vents their frustration in another thread it seems completely out of context and of course is likely to get a rise from someone else thinking they are being unreasonable..... If they knew the whole story the reaction no doubt would be different...

And despite my comments last night I am still here... perhaps some of my comments were a little harsh, as were others, however i believe justified given the circumstance... anyway enough blah blah blah as was said to me last time i had a whinge about something on here.... harden the fcuk up ! :D

And one final point, what exactly is a valid contribution ?? Just because some are not technically minded, doesnt mean they cant contribute in other ways... I am sure if we searched through some of the super high post count members on here there would be a lot of useless banter in there ??!
