I found this wheel list while searching for tyres. Thought it might be useful regarding Volvo rims?

The Torana PCD of 4.24" is supposed to equal 107.7mm <-Please someone correct me if this is inaccurate...

Supposed to be car their off, PCD then offset? All mm.

The 107.7mm/4.24" are what is documented in the factory manual.

And I spoke to somebody a few years back who had access to the original GM-H blueprints. The correct stud pattern is 5/4.25", the 5/4.24" is definitely a mis-print and it is also a figure that I have seen.

TRIFECTA!

Off topic, four year old thread and a double post to boot...

The original _CHOPPER_ would not be impressed!

Chop and I actually fitted a set of spacers to the back of one of his projects back in around October. But that was just a dummy fitment to see if we could get away with a wider diff.

by the way a bit off topic , how is the original chopper ?, there was talk of him being banned which turned out false because the last

time he was around which was a while ago he was undergoing some medical issues , hope he is ok and upright considering the prang

and recovery time.Hang in there :)

get the right offset rims for the project , spacers may be ok in some circumstances ?,buy better to have the clamp force as per most of

the engineers numbers , any V8 super cars use spacers ?

Old Chopper is John from Vic.

Sounds like Vick is still in touch?

So for those of you who don't know:

John is from Melbourne and used the name CHOPPER. one of his threads is linked below:

http://www.gmh-toran...-uc-rear-discs/

That account lists him as "Guests", which means his account was deleted. He actually deleted his own account, he wasn't banned. There is a loophole in the forum software which allows it.

Back in November 2005, a car came out of a side street and hit one of his work vans. There was about 15 separate injuries which forced him to stop work. Not easy when he was raising both of his kids on his own. He almost lost all use of his left arm and there are scans showing 4 damaged discs in his lower back. Despite this, he managed to return to part time work in the tyre industry. Anyone who knows him will know that he jokes around a lot, but he seems serious about returning to competitive sport in 2019. He has also made it clear that he won't be registering as a disabled athlete. So how do I know all this? I just got off the phone to him.

Hi guys. This is an update to my previous post, where I said that CHOPPER was serious about returning to competitive sport in 2019. Check this out!

He said that first person to correctly identify him in the photo will get a free tyre pressure check on the vehicle of their choice.

Correct. The prize is a free tyre pressure check on a maximum of 4 (four) tyres.

Tyre pressure adjustments may incur further costs, which are subject to GST.
