I believe there was a thread about this some time ago, might have been on the old forum. Have you done a search?

Thanks for that..

I believe the book you are refering to has a section at the back on SL/R 5000's and XU1's.

The measurements for the front guards doesn't seem right....too low and forward.
This will teach me for not measuring the originals first..

Hopefully someone can advise.

Sorry for the delayed response, been a tad busy of late, something to do with school closures.

Here are the pics, firstly from the GMH LH Torana Manual, secondly from the EPTOR publication. Hope they help. Lets not go down the XU-2 path again.

Now on the rear spoiler, it claims it is 30" from the bottom. Looks like EPTOR has tried to correct it by placing a decimal point. That seems to work, although I couldn't get it to work any which way I tried with the manual. Locally we have been just setting the top of the text 10mm below the top of the blackout. Using a cloth tape bottom may be 3" from bottom of the spoiler following the contour. This is the result of what we are doing locally:-

Those dimensions for the front stickers look wrong as well. I can measure mine for you if you want. I think mine is original sticker, as somebody in the vehicle's past has masked the original sticker when respraying it.

I can go out and measure it if you want.

Thanks for that..

I'm glad I disregarded the book....didn't think it was right.
Ended up making a judgement call based on photos etc..

Result looks great.

cheers

Pics?

I'll still measure mine on the w/e and post up the measurements anyways, just so it is recorded somewhere.

Anyone know of the correct location for the rear SS sticker please? I've heard somewhere of 75mm from tailight and 35mm from top of panel. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Any diagrams around like these SLR5000 ones? Thanks.

Add your SS measurements here, we don't mind sharing with the budget models.

Here are the updated SL/R ones measured from my car. See how they compare with yours. The book is way out.

Does everyone agree that the dimensions put down by Yella Fella appear to be the most correct thus far?

Hey mate, yeah the time is getting close for me to put my decals on! I dont have a blackout section to measure from on the bobtail obviously as its all black......

Measure down form the top. The black is where the bob-tail changes direction, on the bottom there is a lip to measure from.

See how you go. Fine liner tape is the go to setting it all up and getting them straight.
