Just cause somebody wanted some pics. As far as I can assertain, these were a dealer fitted option, basically a Statesman sunroof, and came in both electric and manual form (There is a yella L34 with the manual version). There is a rumour that 150 shells left the factory with the sunroof cutout, but I've not been able to verify that.

Anyways, enjoy:-

thats interesting to see where the light got mounted yella.
does it mount with the twists that hold a normal positioned light?
i saw in one of your posted pics last year the hoodlining has a rectangular section near the back window. is that related to the sunroof?
big fan of the yellow slr's.

Yup rear panel provides acces to the sunroof motor (I think). The sunroof is packed in tight, so cabin light is moved to the front. Even with the tight packing, there is like a 15-20mm step down in the hood lining at the back to accommodate all the workings. Other than that, when closed, you'd not even know it is there.

Oh, just noticed <----, thanks mods.

Four drainage tubes (I think, I'm yet to pull it apart), one down either side B Pillar, and one down either A Pillar. Drains perfectly so far. It's yet to require any maintenance, but I'm sure there will be a day. There may even be one down each rear pillar, but don't really know. It will come out (for respray purposes only, will go back in) when I finally get to repaint it, but don't ask me when that will be.

Found this pic of the 'Statesman' sunroof, identical to mine but a manual verision. This is in Mark's Yella L34.

Sorry Mark, but not sure about the cabin light.

Not a step in the roof line, a step in the roof lining, and not for the motor, for where the solid panel slides back inside the roof cavity. Hope that makes sense. When the roof it is closed, you wouldn't know it was there from the outside, cept for the outline of the opening. All sits nice and flush like.

yeah i meant hoodlining, but it came out a bit wrong. I always wondered if they sat flush or what the go was. Atleast it looks good, there are some shocking sunroofs on torrys.
