Spent some time on the Torana today, Fitted the front door glass and rubbers ,wiper motor and mechanism , boot lock and the rest of the door locks and openers.

Look what the post man bought me today ,lots of stuff missing from my order , any how more goodies to fitt .
Already fitted the hinge bolts and door handels .

After opening one vent seals I went looking for the rubber conditioner , and you guessed it I stumbleupon the original set of vent seals that I thought I hadn't bought DOH! Now I have 2 sets , So if anyone wants a cheap new set not fitted ,let me know .

So my bumpers came back from chrome today , the finish on the outside of the bumper is excelent not perfect but ok.
as for the inside Im not so happy and they are going back .

Don't get me wrong the external finish is great and they were done the old school way ,for the avarage build they would be more than sufficient , Im just a fussy bastid :)

A mate sent it from the states . Its a Dynamatt ripoff , but exactley the same at 30% the cost . If you pay for Foose your a goose .


Sorry to back pedal on the thread, but do you know the brand of the knockoff??????????

Loverly car by the way, have just read from the start its come a long way real quick.

Fitted the frontend today , quite an easy Job, took about 1 hour with some help from a mate to drive the fork lift . I used a ratchet strap to close the K frame a bit slipped straight in .Also fitted the booster .

Hang on.... You putting the motor in from the top??? Thought it was easier to go in with the K-Frame?

Depends what you consider easier, bashing crap outa the k frame skinning knuckles swearing at everyone that looks your way and all that jazz trying to get it in ,or taking an extra couple of hours with beer in hand dropping the donk in from the top. It does help to have a fork lift this is for sure :)
