some i did but didnt fully appreciate.
my dad worked at zupps when dj had the EH and formula 3 at lakeside.
he was in a mini car club called motorvators and raced at maryborough ,caboolture and exhibition speedway in various holdens.
he drove the formula 3 at lakeside on one occasion.
he left zupps to work at djs shell driveway at the gabba with peter clive.
during the week they would pull down the gtr and prep all the parts for dj to put back together before the next meeting.
he seems to recall that the dj car was a gtr and updated to xu-1 specs, not an off the shelf xu-1.
wether this car he mentions is prior to the yellow zupps car i am yet to find out.
we will be digging up some photos of of the era shortly including bill browns car drapped over the fence at bathurst.
hopefully there are some pics for the LC-LJ guys.

i havnt read the book but my interest in the subject is increasing of late.
i know next to nothing of LC and LJ models but with their popularity of late its important to share what we can.
