RRS use them with their Rear Disc Kit 1 option. They suit the Ford stud pattern and I think the centre hole diameter maybe also for the Ford.
Then you would be able to use PBR VT rear calipers to suit that disc.

I am getting either an EL or AU BW diff, depending on what I can find. I'm after a brake setup that uses vented discs that fits under 16" rims.
Antelope, who is RRS?

There wasn't a vented disc option on the Fud unless you went for the Brembo package
That 330mm x 28mm disc is way too heavy and won't fit under a 16
Brute utes run a custom vented rear disc in 315mm designed to match the HSV one the commodores use
So you could use that disc on the AU backing plate and then you just need to adapt a caliper

I knew about the Hoppers kit, but I can't weld for shit.
Summit seem to have a lot of options, but I want to buy something in Australia. Prefferably Melbourne.

If so, how hard or easy was it?
I suppose it went on a 9" diff?

I'll take some pictures of the kit tomorrow and post them so you can see for yourself Chopper if or before you decide to purchase the kit.

This is the RRS rear disc kit No. 1 setup.
Front view.
Single shoe Banksia park brake setup.
Point of interest is that the RRS rear disc kit No.2 uses the same setup (just different discs and calipers).
Back view.
Attaching point for park brake cable.
LX Torana park brake cable fitted. Haven't fitted it in situ but it looks as though
the original park brake cable will be able to be retained.
Kit No. 1 rear disc (appox. 287mm, 16mm thick, slotted and vented).
Kit No. 2 rear disc (315mm, 18mm thick, slotted and vented).
Side by side comparison.
Caliper fitted. They are a stock PBR Commodore VT Caliper.
Rear mounted caliper may present a problem with shock clearence on a standard
Torana diff housing width.
Another view.
With disc fitted (disc from No. 1 kit).

I'm trying to skin this cat a different way. If I can, I won't be buying the kit. If I can't, then the RRS is looking like a good option.I'll take some pictures of the kit tomorrow and post them so you can see for yourself Chopper if or before you decide to purchase the kit.

Interesting... Care to share how you're planning to "skin that cat"?I'm trying to skin this cat a different way. If I can, I won't be buying the kit. If I can't, then the RRS is looking like a good option.

First I need to buy the diff, then I need to get out the tape measure. One step at a time.

I have a VN disc rear end here if you need any measurements.Because the VN and AU both use B/W diffs, could the VN caliper bracket be bolted to the AU diff? And provided the distance from the axle flange to the diff housing is the same between the two diffs, couldn't a machined Coommodore rear disc be used?

I also have a VN B/W diff here, but if you had an old Commodore rear disc ( DBA 016 I think), that would be handy. Undersize would be OK, just need to be able to physically fit it to the Commodore diff.
