Does yours have the Series 70 badges as well as the Brabham ones? Later models had both. Or was that earlier......??
Twin Sidedraft CDs. Should have Lockheed brakes.
Dave, it's mainly the carbs and brakes you need to confirm.

There is a lot of incorrect info about HB Brabham Toranas.
Firstly, there are 2 versions of the HB Torana, therefore there are 2 different versions of the Brabham.
The HB Series I had the Brabham as an option package available on both S & SL Toranas. Also in Series I, there were no extra gauges on the dash, all they had was the standard strip speedo. About the only interior item changed was the gearshift knob. The outside had small gold 'Brabham' badges with a chequered flag section, located on the front guards & rear panel (between the tail-lights).
The HB Series II Brabham, had the LC GTR style instruments & wood rimmed steering wheel, along with bolder stripes on the outside of the car. The badges were bigger & read 'Brabham Torana'. These were fitted to both front guards, the rear panel & also the grille.
The 82611 ID number only means a 2-door SL Torana, which most Brabhams were based on. Just because it's an 82611 doesn't mean it's a Brabham. In the same way that an LC 82911 doesn't necessarily mean it's an XU-1.
All Brabhams had the twin carby set-up with 2 x Zenith-Stromberg CD-150 sidedraughts.
The Series 70 engine option (with 1 x Zenith Stromberg CD-150 sidedraught carby) was available on normal Toranas and had its own badge. If you had an HB which had both Brabham & Series 70 badges, it is an orphan. It would be a bit like having an HQ Kingswood with both a 202 & a V8 badge.

Only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it!!
Still, it is good to know of another Brabham out there..
I hope the sale goes well for both concerned.
