this is my new lx torana project its a 202 and trimatic with a banjo diff
the 202 will come out once i get it running and it will become a spare speedway motor
it has rust in behind the rear bumper, in 3 of the doors, the lower left hand quarter, in under the dash and behind the bonnet hinges.
im putting a 308 stroked out to a 383 i have the 30 thou block whic has just been acid dipped, the stroker crank pistons and rods from c.o.m.e engines,i have a new crow cams cam and a acl race serious gasket kit.
all i need are a decent set of heads to bolt on and a new set of lifters as the ones i have are starting to rust on the edge (unless i can clean em up somehow).
i have a trimatic which will be full manual shift with a 3grand stall converter
i am un sure on what diff to go yet as i would like to stay with a banjo but that wont last
the interior has a black dash and the ash tray says torana on it which i reckon its cool
the door trims are black with a silver insert bit which are in great condition

Hi
Good luck with the bulid as you have a good base to start with. Are they LH SL/R door trims? If they are thats a great bonus.

Good Luck with the project mate. Looks like you have a good base to start with! Are you Flaring it? Or leaving it flareless?
