Hi all. I have these two LX dashes. One is SLR silver, and the other im not sure what it is...? It is also a kind of silver. The SLR is a light silver and the other is a dark silver? Were there differences in colours from the factory or is the darker one maybe a home job or something? Hopefully the pics will show you what I mean but it was hard to get a good photo of the different hues... Cheers.

I have seen darker ones like the one you have before. A pic of the stenciling on the heater control panel will tell if it is original or not. Also check for paint around the glovebox lock indent.

Thanks toranavista. On closer inspection the decals around the heater control stuff are just poorly painted versions so youre right. It must just be a home painted job. Doesnt look too bad if youre not fussy but quite ordinary if you are. Cheers.
