That is burnished bronze metallic. I bought an lc gtr in1986 from parramatta with that colour, it looks excellent, i ended up selling to a young kid from canberra about a year later. I wonder if its still around??

I am going to throw the cat amongst the pidgions here.
I think the colour is Monaco Maroon Metalic 11206 it is too dark for Burnished Bronze.
Based on an original GM sample colour chart.
The big issue here is the colour reproduction from photo to computer.

I have a monaco maroon Biante model in my collection at home and it doesn't look anything like the GTR pictured above..

sorry finer70, the colour is definately Burnished Bronze, it's an odd colour for a Torana, more common in Monaro's and Premiers etc

I agree with Finer, hard to sort out on the puter, I still go for Dayotna Bronze, My local HWP guy Dick Kennedy chased me enough in my HT 350 Monaro in 1973 to tell me it is that colour...I remember it clearly in my rear vision mirror! Several times! He never did catch me! Ahh! the days b4 radar!
