Ive just had a bunch of these washers precision laser cut.
I understand they have a fold on the end,but I dont know the size or the angle.
if someone can offer some photos or an accurate diagram,I can fold them up and offer them for sale.
I would also like to send out a few samples for free to forum members to check for fit before offering them for sale.
I would prefer someone with genuine guards.
Pm me if you can help.
Cheers,Craig

I may well be wrong but I thought those clips were only fitted to the L34 and not the A9X.
Its possible both had them. They are looking good anyway

Not sure if the A9X had them and am sure other forum members can clarify this for you.

If ppl are going to buy these, you might want to make that clear.
I've seen differences of 5mm smaller than 'normal'.

I wasnt sure about the A9X either, not much of an expert on the big torrys.
I just saw those genuine ones go for ridiculous money on ebay and thought there must be a market for sensibly priced items.
It would be nice to know which aftermarket flares they fit as well.
Im willing to send a samples for free to anyone that wants a set before they buy them.
These were made from a photo of a genuine item with a scale for reference supplied by another forum member,so I am pretty confident of accurate size.
I really need to know about the fold though.
Cheers,Craig.

Ahh. Are they just used to stop the flare cracking from overtightening/Vibration?
True, but they still crack. Mine have got crazy cracks everywhere and most of them aren't that tight

but everyone elses do.
Does this mean the ebay buyer has been stooged?
or is there a possibility that there are more than one type?
The ebay unit appears to fit differently where it meets the piping as well.
I want to make sure I get this right.
I need expert opinions please.

But my question still remains
Do they have a fold or dont they?

4 bucks a washer if you want some.Thats a little over one tenth the cost of genuine ones.
100 percent moneyback guarantee.Free postage.
Genuine washers are 1.2mm thick.Mine are 1.6mm thick. They are otherwise identical .They might need touching up to fit on aftermarket flares.
Not as original,I know, but it should help prevent them from bending like all the genuine ones I have now seen.
They are unpainted bright mild steel(cold rolled)
I will make more if demand is there.
Cheers,Craig.
