Well after it leaked again in the car,i modifeid my engine stand to run engine,
Tried another rubber seal,i really took some time to get (wot i thoght was) right,
run engine for 15-20min and leaked,
Rang Ray he said to ring Prostroke,
Rang Clint at prostroke talked to him for 45min and i found something very basic wrong.
My tappet covers on wrong, the left one had no vent,(on old 308 it didnt have a grommet in it)
i put a blanking grommet in it,and sealled it.
The right bank has the filler and PCV right next to each other,so it was breathing great on that side.
and pressureizing on the left bank. This was not giving me any posative crankcase ventilation, forcing oil out seal.
however it didnt blow out dipstick,
I put a rope seal in and changed tappet covers and run it for 2hrs on stand no problem,
put it back in car and drove it 120km trip at various speeds and load,no leak.
cheers Baz

That must have been loud.
Just goes to show how important crank case breathing is.
Glad it is sorted and thank you for sharing.
