HEY. i have a set of original 150 stromberg triples off of an lc xu1 but the cast is different compared to others e.g: where they normally display HOLDEN and then firing order instead of having this its stamped in the middle of the manifold:... GMH 2815923....., can anyone tell me what this serial number is for and what it means.....does it mean anything special like is it a bathurst one or a dealer replacement part
cheers,

blake

Hi Blake

2815922 is the correct P/N for the LC XU-1. There is no listing in the parts manual for 2815923. Someone will correct me, but I thought HOLDEN only appeared from the LJ XU-1 onward.

Cheers

my lc has HOLDEN cast into the manifold
Its a CK engine, if that makes a difference?
I will confirm a part number later for you if this helps

the 2815923, manifold was used with the first of the xu1 heads that had no part number, and like that head these are few and far between.
so has bruce as pointed out it will suit the very early lc xu1s.

cheers gong.

ps also there was 2 companys making these back in the day.

hey is there any more updates on this for me?. last i read these manifolds were also on the GTR-X concept, and also early lc xu1s. the thing is ive never seen another set like these and would consider getting another manifold that displays the words holden and the firing order.

Cheers Blake
