Re-assembling Frontend & went to bolt steering rack on found that bushes are loose on Bolts from K-frame . It looks like there should be a spacer of some sort in there but the guy who is doing the job can't find them and rare spares don't have anything .Can anyone help me out?

there are two washers between the rack and the frame and one in front of the bushes on my lh so there are 6 washers about the diameter of the bottom of a spraycan. i just took the friggin thing apart an put a UC rack in today. i have some washers and bushes hangin around now if that is wats missing.

And a crush tube in the centre of the bush, or not?

yeah but i'd assume that would be stuck in the bush still. my set up when i took it off went nut then washer then bush then other side of mount bush with crush tube then washer then washer then k-frame. hope that makes sense

Anyone know what the mounting setup on a UC rack is?
I know there are washers on the front but is there any between the rack and x-member?

Looks like washers front and back. I can scan the page from a UC manual tonight.

Awesome, thanks mate.
Any chance you could measure the thickness of the rear washers aswell? (if there are washers there of course).
I bought my x-member and rack separately so I don't have them.
I made some stainless ones for the front today, and I have all the ones from the original LH front end still, but I'm thinking about making stainless ones for behind the rack as well. (again, if there are washers there of course).

i just reused the ones off the lh they did ok its all nice and tight... time will tell tho i spose. shit my steering feels better! maybe cos how rooted mine was. remember to reconnect the rod to the unijoint thing and put the pins in before you tighten the rack to the frame. i stripped one of the pins cos i got that wrong :<_<:

The washer is the same front and back. I measured it as 2.6 mm thick with a diameter of 44.6 mm.
