DAWN CRUISE - 17/1/10

It's on again, the annual DAWN CRUISE.
After a tumultuous 2009 with the NSW Monaro Club, We have formed a breakaway organisation called:
Monaro Owners, Drivers, and Enthusiasts - or MODE for short.
It's a group of very cool, down to earth friends who simply love their Holdens! (and Monaros in particular!)
Anyway... We have been cordially invited to attend this run which departs from LOFTUS OVAL at 05:00 (from memory.. all details TBC!)
travelling down to waterfall where we enter the Royal National Park to stop at Bald Hill to watch the sunrise over the water and have a bit of a yarn!
After that we normally head to Rubys cafe at Bulli, but I'm told it is no longer there! So an alternative breakfast venue is being decided at the moment.
Please let me know if you're interested, it's a really enjoyable day out that usually ends early enough to still enjoy the day!
Cheers!

I'll check with the calendar keeper and see what happens.
Whats the rough distance of the run? fuel stops along the way at all?
I can only get about 250kms from a tank (if that)

As long as nothing major comes up (and the car is still going, and going well) we should be there (might bring the ute if its regoed)
I think its about a 2hour drive from our joint to the meeting point.

But i wonder if there is anyone down this way you could call on to stay the night before to make it easier?
As i'm not entirely sure of the route due to Ruby's being closed, I dont know what the fuel situation will be!
Will keep informed though, it's a great day/morning out!
Bring your cameras... the photos are spectacular!

You and Simmo are welcome anytime mate!
Definitely a long haul, but worth seeing the sunrise! HAHAHAH!!
(you'd get to see... What... at LEAST 2 more sunrises on the way down wouldn't you!?)

Ruby's cafe has been sold and has re-opened under a new name!
So it's on for young and old! See you there!
I will post details of the meeting point shortly!
