Torana brake pedal assemblies

im at the stage with my project to build up a new brake pedal system.
Not shure if i keep the original pedals and set them up with two new master cylinders ,balance bar and one for the clutch.
Or option two is to buy a new Wilwood pedal assembly with all included, but need lots of cutting in the inner chassis aerea.
My question is if someone did that with his torana before and how was it done?.
Im not keeping the original booster and mastercylinder so far.
All hints and pictures are welcome.

Difficult to fit
The only saving grace is that Mark has no legs
The pedalbox really needs to come forward alot if anyone taller wants to drive the car
I would recommend you buy Tilton or a better brand than the wilwood... AP , Brembo... your in Europe so the choices are much better
I would have them swinging like your original pic rather than floor mounted just for space reasons and not having to cut out the floor and the supporting chassis rail
Even if you keep the masters mounted on the firewall like Alex has on his.... and Howard ... rather than have them back facing and in the cab
Great idea... I highly recommend it

What he says but i'll add.
We pushed the box back as far as it goes. You can't section the floor and sink it in without major structural changes to the floorpan.
So mounting it flat on the floor and having normal leg length means lowering and extending the steering coloum.
The decel box twists in a competition environment under heavy braking.
There is very little room (read none) for a left foot rest.
Better to go with a hanging box as described.
I've mentioned many times that its bad points don't outweigh the cost and hassle of replacing it, but if i was doing another one or doing it again, we wouldn't go this way.
Did you get those papers??

Unfortunately it is true that the floorspace is made for middlesized people like me .
We dont want to make the seat to much to the rear .(rollcage middle tube)
Another way is to use the original pedals but i dont like to loose space in the engine bay with the mastercylinders and clutchcylinders wich we just won by taking the booster out.
But is seems to be the best way to fit the brakecylinders on a save stable ground.
Some plasma cutting has to be done to make some space for the own assembly.
In the Holden VP Supercar we have here is a good example to keep the original pedals and fit 3 mastercylinders to it.
