Hi

This picture is all I had to go by. It is not real clear whether the edge has been flattened or left folded. I am sure someone here has an original. We have the dimensions of the vertical plate.

Cheers

One thing I did learn was the position of the tray, mine had a 6mm gap from the corner of the tray to the radiator support were I know of another forum members one was hard up against. His was a 72 xu1 so could be a 72/73 thing, then again it could just be another holden put where every it fits and hit that spot weld gun, thing.

Hi Blake

Looking at this picture (I forgot I had it) it is of an original and the facing edge seems to be vertical not turned.

The plate is 1/16th inch thick. The modern equivalent is 1.6mm. I had one cut today for $5 at the local steel merchant.

Cheers
