Sorry mate, but don't leave your hand on top of the spoiler when you shut the boot, that's what splits em to start with.

Would love to have a broken one to provide the material to repair them with!!!

Hi Pete,
havnt had spoilers done but have had bike plastics repaired/welded
before, maybe try them as well.
Theres Plastonics in Belmont...9277 1737, Hollywood P&P Welshpool...9451 5595
used to be Motorcycle P&P in Ossy Park but cant see him listed ATM.
Watched him repair a panel once, he just used a paint stripping gun & melted
a cable tie into the crack then sand, fill & sand. All looked too easy..
Ohh & I've only used the bloke in Ossy Park so cant vouch for the other places
but know that Plastonics has been around for a fair while now.

Cheers
Jono

the spoilers are ABS plastic, a simple crack likr they get is very easy to fix and you can buy ABS rods, I repair my own.

Soldering iron of some description is what I've seen used.

There are suppliers on the net of the rods, I'll find the company name I use. You can use a soldering irn or some parts of the job, a heat gun is better, but you need a small tip and ABS neeeds to be done at 300degrees. I recomend a small pen type butane heat gun as a proper plastic welding gun like I have is about $900.
