Is there a relationship or a calculation that allows you work out 1/4mile times from a 1/8 mile run?

You can guess, but it wont be very accurate. Some cars are faster off the line, then die toward the end of the track (mine), and others which just keep going and going and going. If you chuck up your 1/8 times and mph, we may be able to work it out, but you wont know for sure till you finish the track

Give this a go, might not be 100% but it's the closest i could find, we run around 6.60 - 6.61 @ 104mph on the 1/8 & 10.37 - 10.40 @ 130mph over the 1/4, so by this chart we should be running around 10.16 - 10.20 on the 1/4 which would also match our 130mph.

As stated above it depends on numerous factors but the chart posted by OLC383 is pretty good.
There are several existing threads devoted to this topic, here is a cut and paste from my reply in one of them....
Yes there is a linear mathmatical relationship between quarter and eighth mile ET's but it varies depending on who you talk to.
An article in Hot Rod magazine years ago put it at 1/8ET x 1.54 = 1/4ET (this is OLC383's table)
http://www.racecarbo...omparison.shtml puts the variable at 1.5625.
Personally I use the same one as ANDRA, 11/7 or 1.571 this works best for me and my vehicle.
Hope this helps.
