Time flies...the uc has been pretty much unloved since that last post. mad the treck back from Townsville to sydney at the end of 2012, where it sat under the carport at my place for a year as i had bugger all room to work on it. recently moved back to wollongong and have alot of room to work now and the uc is due for some love.

i have always wanted to do a blow through turbo setup on it and in the early days i was planning something very similar to bombers grenade setup. i did however really want to set it up like another forum members uc(rb3torana) and when he put the turbo manifold up for sale, i jumped on it and figured i would go from there

i have been collecting a few bits and pieces and have pretty much everything i need to put it together now apart from an intercooler, but there is plenty to do before i need to worry about that.

my wife and i have just had a baby(early december) so i dont have much spare time at the moment but as a bit of time frees i will try and get into it. its good finally having some decent shed space to work in. Anyway, a few pieces of the puzzle is all i have to update now

Got some time to play in the shed this arvo, waiting on some studs for mounting the turbo and i need to give the inlet manifold a tickle for some clearance. hopefully get a chance to do it on the weekend

yep.....mount it on a stand in the garden with a garden hose attached and make a sprinkler out of it.......and then put a 308 in the UC for some real power

There the support that runs down the bottom of the radiator support panel I made a bracket off it . If you mount it low enough you should be able to run the piping below the bumper mounting. And for the top make a bracket that incorporates the bonnet hatch. You then may need to brace it to stop flex when closing the bonnet like the factory one. Hope that helps mate

You can't run the throttle bracket thing with the turned carbie can you? I would like to on mine but there isn't any room lol.

This is a pretty damn cool project :)

yeah, there is no room Heath, i will probably just hack it up and keep the return spring part of it and rig something up on top of the rocker cover to hold the cable
