Who likes Papaya?

PAPAYA EVERYWHERE! The stuff grows on trees up there! [LOL]....
Now when it comes to Torana's, not so much of the fruity colour about these days.
So..... tell me, who likes papaya?
Now that question can be taken 2 different ways. Give me your take on both. I'm curious to hear your thoughts.....
For me, the fruit is pure YUK! I just can't get into it. As for the Torrie colour..... I guess it has to grow on me, because my SL/R is going back to 100% factory spec, which obviously includes the paint, and mine is factory Papaya.

When I first phoned up the seller of my SS, he said it was "kinda orange" colour to which I immediately thought .... Papaya.....Yuk
After a 4hr drive to see it I was pleasantly surprised to find it was Mandarin Red which in different lighting situations either looks red or orange.
As you said it will probably grow on you but more importantly it will be back to original, just the way it should be, congratulations
If everyone had the same colour car it would be awfully boring.
Even if the SS I now have was Papaya, I would have bought it and left it that colour.
Regards ...... Barry

Better than Antelope, LOL!
I think you mean Contessa Gold Heath! That's an ugly colour!
Antelope is a nice colour... It's not outrageous yet still 70's.
Papaya... I like it on certain cars... I think it suits a flareless car better than it does a car with flares...

Hey!!! Watch your mouth, youngen!! LOL!
I think that Papaya is the colour that most people associate with the LX. Hatch more so than the Sedan..
Is your interior Sienna?

I quite dislike the colour. Like Datto says, it looks washed out!
Doesn't even look good in 2pak IMHO.
