To start i cut the chassis just after the spring mount and re-fabricated it to run 90mm higher about the diff and moved them in 40mm each side, then set up the triangulated

4 link using nissan patrol trailing arms and copied the angles and mounting positions from a hj sedan. The air bags are mounted to the front side of the diff with sedan shocks and the back.

I cut down a f100 diff to suit with moser axles, 3.55 LSD centre and modified WB rear disc brakes to work with the big bearing axles.

The motor is a rebuilt 308 with VN heads, i thought i might have a play with manifold and turn it into a twin throttle body setup.

Gearbox is a rebuilt T700 with a stage 2 shift kit and 2500rpm stall.

Inside the manifold.

Would've liked to have seen you have a crack at doing a grp a replica manifold...some guys have had good results adding trumpets inside the manifold & also giving it a larger plenum area.

Speed bumps are no problem when it's at ride height it looks like a standard panel van.

I did think about having trumpets on the inside of the manifold, but that was going to be to much work and make the manifold to high.

As it is it has 188rwkw (252rwhp) so it enough to have some fun with. Another reason i set the manifold up in this way is it would nice and easy

to pipe up a twin turbo setup.

Because the rear tyres are 275/60 15 and the chassis work i need to do a bit of tub work. I hate the look of square cornered tubs so made then with radius

corners and some folds to copy the orignal floor then cut the floor to go up and over the chassis.

The interior is just retrimmed buckets seats, GTS dash with the original air chief radio, speedo converted to electronic (same as my torana) and a Lokar gear position indicator mounted in the dash.

Modified a VN shifter and used the original console.

Another photo of the back, the inner panels were cut and shut to fit back in to keep the original look.

Have you got any detailed pictures of how you did the front bags?

also, how you setup the rear with the 4 link?

I don't have any photos of the front bags but i brought the kit from airide http://www.airide.co...products_id/569

The rear is a triangulated 4 link that i copied from the angles of from a hj sedan rear end but using upper and lower rear trailing arms from a

GQ nissan patrol which are both 100mm longer than the hj arms.

I do have this dodgy video of the rear end.

Bit of an update, thanks to Dattoman I was able to fix the photos because of photobucker extortion attempt.

The GTS steering wheel always seemed to rub on the column, so pulled it out and compared it to a spare one I hand to

find the top bearing was never set up right and had lost some of the ball bearings.

Used the bearing out of the old column and repacked them into the column.

Also replaced the nolathane sway bay bushes the had collapsed.

And how it sits now, keeping it barn find fresh, since that seems to be the buzz word.
