Work friend was showing me some pics that he took at Bathurst in 1970, and thought you may be interested. Pics were most likey taken with a box brownie. Quality is not good, but its good to see the track in its original form.

check out the different positions(both awkward) the monaro driver and the xw driver have put themselves into to get around the corner .no wonder they lost bark

Ahhhhh The good old day's.

Love the photo of Bond in the LC leading the factory Fords in those opening laps. Awesome stuff.
