gtr/xu1 oil pressure sender help

im looking for an oil pressure sender unit to fit the oil pressure guage in gtr/xu1 dash

i know they are different from the standard dash warning light one in me 4dr. Did a search, but cant find info...I know there is some info somewhere but cant find it when ya need it!

anyone got a part number. and is there a way to tell the difference between the standard/gtr ones
and is there different ones to suit differnt years or all the same?

They are all the same for the Lc/Lj oil pressure guage. I do not have a part number handy but only a few weeks ago I bought a brand new one over the counter from Auto Barn. They had it in stock. I just checked it for a part number and it has 0-500kpa on one surface, The manufacture date of 3/10 on another surface and the number 004 on the last surface which I assume is a part number. I don't remember the brand. Hope this helps.

Hi Guys.

The sender for the oil gauge in an LC/LJ is a VDO 360.004. It is the same as used in VB-VL Commodores, so should be easy to find.

if thats the case, i better have a look in my shed, as i dismantled a VK injected engine and am sure it had the oil sender unit on it

found it. only numbers i found on it are 8-80, 0-500kpa and VDO. cant see 004 stamped anywhere. hopefully its the correct one
