The paint is sad,and appears original.
I dont recall ever seeing another the same.

A mate of mine has a dark grey LC GTR? (tags are long gone) and Id like to compare its colour to another car to see if it is a genuine colour.
I think it is Phantom Grey.
The paint is sad,and appears original.

Hi there I can remember clearly being pulled over by a dark grey GTR torana on the Hume Hghy near the Yass Canberra turn off in 1972,from memory it was a charcoal type grey metalic.i was in a COOPER S at the time,and i had been pedal too the metal for quite a while, when this Torana came up fast behind me, The 2 coppers were decent guys, we chatted and i drove away with a caution, perhaps these colours were special for the police cars,

I have got a 9/71 lc gtr phantom grey metallic .Its got a faded red on it when i bought it .Wonder how many phantom grey metallic mk1 there are around .There is not any on the register ? ackzack
