Did the Chevron Cloth come in different colurs?

-60Y Interior Chamois with Chevron Cloth inserts, what did the Chevron cloth look like for this trim code?

Did Chevron only look like the upper fabric in this pic below? Its becoming a real mission to try and find this stuff.

This came from Ross the Managing Director of Novatex International.

The Chevron cloth is difficult to find, I have personally looked in trimmers racks around the country with no success,

I have just received some samples from SMS. They have said they can supply any of these 3 styles in any colour.

Which of the three samples is the closest to the factory Chevron. I dont care that its not cloth, just want it to look right.

Yes, yours is the 2nd Pic i posted. But comparing the original to this, it looks like the arrows in the pattern are wider.... Where as the 1st pic the arrows look a little tighter as per the original Chevron Cloth.

Sooo, would this have been Chamois in colour if used in the -60Y interior? Chamois Vinyl and Chamois Chevron?

Here I finally have 8m of NOS Long Grain Chamois Vinyl and 2m of NOS Chevron Cloth...... What a mission its been to get a hold of this stuff.... At least I should be able to get my interior back to its original -60Y appearance.

No it wasnt Boomfunk. And as far as Im aware this was the last of the Chevron Cloth. Unsure about the vinyl...

Im still going to have to track down some chamois vinyl for the headlining, door trims and pillar trims that closely matches this stuff.

They do custom colours now days, send them a sample, as a number of Holdens used covert and get them to colour match it.

Try Eastern Upholstery, I think thats what they call themselves, they purchased all of Holden's old equipment years ago apperently and specialise in doing early Holden repro interiors

They advertise in Just Parts magazine to, seen some of there work and its first class, he might be able to help you out with the colour of Covert carpet, just a thought and well worth a try

Must catch up soon to, just doing a heap of overtime at the moment.

Highly unlikely mate, all of this rare stuff is still around, just depends on how deep your pockets are! I know of trimmers with some really impossible to find NOS material but they like to hold out for that discerning client with a black Amex.
All I can suggest is ask around and you may get lucky.
Cheers Mick.

Thanks Mick,
I spoke with you the other day on the phone. I am the guy with the other Antelope SS like yours !
If you hear of anyone that has the Chevron fabric or can provide the new covers with the Chevron in it please let me know mate.

Jamie
