Condensation in shed

Condensation is from a temperature differential right? My shed is fairly sealed... would fitting some whirly birds on the roof or opening the window etc help to reduce/eliminate condensation?

been thinking of putting plastic over the car covers during winter,to stop the water soaking through.
i don,t think whirley birds are moving much in the frost, but i could be wrong(:-)

But they collect heaps of dust and dead bugs on top.

Hey guys, Ive got a I-beam/brick shed with a steel roof and Ive noticed on these colds nights when I go out in the morning the underside of the roof is covered in water condensation... and some of it is dripping down onto the cars and their covers.
Condensation is from a temperature differential right? My shed is fairly sealed... would fitting some whirly birds on the roof or opening the window etc help to reduce/eliminate condensation?
Yep, warm moist air inside shed hits cold iron roof and condensation forms on underside of roof.
Ventilation will help. Better still, pull the roof off, lay down R2.5 fibreglass building blanket (insulation) over the purlins and refit the roof.
Foil side faces down and roof sits on the fibreglass blanket.

Forget condensation it damn near rains in there
And since the floor is carpetted it just takes one leak and the whole floor gets soaked
When I'm able to move some cars around and the weathers better I will remove the carpet and patch the roof
However... I don't get the condensation issue your talking about

We are south western sydney ans we get condensation under the car port so I don't see how ventalation will help.
It will help when you've got an enclosed space underneath the roof.
The insulation blanket works best though.
I have a partly enclosed carport with the insulation blanket under the roof and no condensation problems at all.

On some (Cold, humid) mornings though, the painted floor has some condesation on it.
