It seems the question about the differences between the V8 and the 6 cyl tail shafts have been asked, but what about that 2 piece job in the 4cyls?

Are they a different length to the aforementioned shafts? Has anyone ran them behind a 6 or 8, Trimatic or 4 speed?

Cheers

Something I learnt not that long ago.

Tailshaft bloke told me that 1 piece shafts are OK to about 4500rpm, after that it's better to have 2 piece.

The 4's rev harder in stock form because they have a higher ratio diff.

Well it seems the 4cyl yoke thing fits into the back of a v8 trimatic, length sorta looks okay. I'll bolt it up the diff and see how we go from there.
