Does anybody know how many lx 1977 slr 5000 were painted black i have been told 4 does someone know if this is correct

I would have said a lot more than 4 but have no factual evidence. Although I would have seen about 4 over the years at a guess.

There were 12 Tuxedo A9X Maffia taxi's made for a start, so that is 12 as minumum.

Would GMH have any sort of documentation on this subject? Ive spoken to a few people and they all question me when I say Ive got an LH in Tuxedo Black.... As they have said that colour was released with LX????

Hey baron i meant slr5000s only not a9x painted black heres another spin to it with off white interior or flax if they came out with this combo.

My LH SL/R 5000 which is Tuxedo black has a -60Y interior which is Chamois, very light cream almost off white.

There are definitely more than 4 Black (tuxedo) LX SLR5000,s. Ive got one for a start , and I reckon Ive seen more than 4 (supposedly) original ones. Saying this, I wouldnt think there would be many left, not a popular colour when they came out either. Love to know myself the true figures. For the record, mines a chamois interior as well.

This guy is advertising a black torana on ebay (SLR 5000 replica) and reckons is was orignally black on black.

How did you obtain that info? Is there a contact I can use? Is the Qty 4 for LX? Id like to know how many LH SL/R 5000's were done in Tuxedo Black.

some one has given it a very bad red paint job a very long time ago . I got a suprise when I checked th e paint code. I guess they didnt like the black, the red seems to be a popular colour for resprays. It will be black when it gets painted

No flares. Never had. Never gunna get em! Qld Rego. Sold from dealership in Toowoomba.

It did have flares on it , but i got it out of a farmers shed near my place. It is in bad shape would not have had rego for a long time.
