What is the casting number on a LHS V8 Cast Manifold to suit LH/LX SLR? I believe the LHS manifold is particular to the LH/LX?

I've got about a dozen 4BBL 308 manifolds in the shed, I'll have a look asap and see if I can see some differences that may help you. I know the Brock VK one is totally different and has a unique part no, but I never paid much attention to red motor manifolds. I just assumed they were all the same.

Yes I mean exhaust manifold. I wasn't aware you could get LHS and RHS inlet manifolds?

The part number for LH exhaust manifold is 9930044, the casting number is 9930043. Very common for the casting number and part number to be off one digit. The casting number is under the tin shield for the stove pipe.

Just going on that pic. i thought the pass. side dropped down more at where pipe faces up to clear fire wall,,,
Similar drop to drvrs side but with slightly more length like in pic but more down angle.
Could just be angle of shot?

I wasn't aware you meant Left Hand Side, I thought you were using some sort of I D code that I wasn't familiar with. When talking about the engine bay it's more common to say "Drivers side" or "passenger side" to avoid confusion whether you are looking at the engine from the front of the car or not.
So maybe I need to look through the stock of Torana exhaust manifolds I have. I can't believe someone is asking $120.00 for an old exhaust manifold that was probably thrown out when a set of extractors was fitted.

^ Actually it is near side and off side that is used to prevent confusion of left and right but fukc me even holdens cast parts with L and R on them...
Anyhow... who cares, real toranas use extractors.

I know that......I'm old, but most youngsters nowadays say "drivers" or "passengers", so I've sort of gone along with it.

And you are 100% right, all my cars have extractors which is why I have a heap of manifolds laying around.

No hanra,,you are not building a fake SLR,,the manifold you are looking for looks like this.(see pic)
Unfortunately I had to part with the car before it ended up like the others I have rotting in the scrub.
I will do my best to see if new owner will part with it as they would like to fit xtractors.

Be carefull,,some of em just dont know :)
$120 for a genuine pass. exh. manifold I would consider a bargain for a Genuine SLR
rebuild.
Add been pulled because of bullshit advertising techniques??just my thoughts at this time of
brewday :)

Is anyone aware of the casting number on the drivers side cast exhaust manifold?

The P/N: is 7436062. But as we know P/N and cast number are different...

I purchased an LH K member from the same Ebay seller. I won the auction with a bid of $6.00. Sure it was ridiculously cheap, but its an auction. The seller did not respond to any of my emails either, but continued trading on Ebay whilst l attempted to make contact. It looks like the seller feels you won the manifold too cheaply and he will ignore you as a result. Not really the way Ebay is meant to work. Hit him with negative feed back and move on.
