So something like this would not last as long as rubber when used with V8!!!

I can supply you just the rubber centre disc to rebuild yours for $20
It has some blts in the kit... but you might need to reuse some of your olds or find some new
I'll get a pic of whats in the kit for you

I'm guessing they are almost identical
LH 3300 SLR has used one that I know of
He's had it on there since before Tfest 2010

That is a HB, LC,LJ, TA Torana coupling. Definitely not the one for a LH.

So, is the knuckle joint and the intermediate shaft also going to be incorrect? Or is it just the steering coupling?

If you compare your coupler to the photos below it looks like you have all the bits. Ignore the arrows they were another story. I can sell you this one if you want original.

This is what the LC coupler looks likes from this thread. It does not have the plate and metal tabs like yours does.
