hey does anyone know if you just leave the wires cut off that won't be used on the torana from vq wiring harness from ecu?
When I did my own LS1 loom, I pulled all the terminals out of the ECU that I was no longer going to use, and then just put a little bit of silicone in the open cavities to seal it from dirt and moisture. Alot nicer way to finish it off then just have a bunch of cut off wires I figure.
And didn't draw anything up I'm afraid either... I used a factory service manual to go pin by pin on the engine loom, and just adapted/joined things in to the factory Torana loom for the ignition switch, dash stuff, etc, and added on a couple of fuse blocks to handle the new stuff. I used metric-pack/weather pack connectors on everything as well.
Pet peeve of mine is cheezy wiring, ha ha..
