This - http://osp.metrohost...o/VNharness.jpg was drawn up when we put a V6 in my brothers kombi, the V8 harness is almost identical. I'm working on one for the UC but its not finished yet. I've also got a better full size schematic of a conversion harness (same as the 'V6 conversions' one) but its bigger than A3 so im not sure if I can scan it, but I'll try...

When I did my own LS1 loom, I pulled all the terminals out of the ECU that I was no longer going to use, and then just put a little bit of silicone in the open cavities to seal it from dirt and moisture. Alot nicer way to finish it off then just have a bunch of cut off wires I figure.

And didn't draw anything up I'm afraid either... I used a factory service manual to go pin by pin on the engine loom, and just adapted/joined things in to the factory Torana loom for the ignition switch, dash stuff, etc, and added on a couple of fuse blocks to handle the new stuff. I used metric-pack/weather pack connectors on everything as well.

Pet peeve of mine is cheezy wiring, ha ha..

Brown one looks like the extra tacho feed, its usually taped up in the loom in the engine bay. Top green ones (they are both green right?) I'm guessing top one is temp gauge sender, bottom one A/C compressor?

I'll check on the UC tomorrow what colour the temp sender wire is, that square plug looks right but I thought it was a green wire :dontknow:
