What is that motor out of?

If it has letters in the name I'm not too good at identifying it.

That is quite a different approach mate. I myself prefer the rolled steel flares on the baby Toranas.

Looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

hi guys,
with the motor combo, the slightly wider diff and small tire prices, though ill go as big a possible i can get 275/45/17 for $220ea and 245/45/17 for $175ea.
i was surprised how much i had to cut out roughly about 2'' i tacked the seems at the front of as i could squeeze together with clamps ,had to weld sheet into the rear it was a bit of a bastard using a gassless mig,i will have to mod the front spoiler to the shorter front. cheers Daryl

sheesh!

can I ask why you bothered with the flutes? might make that area a bit busy once its all one colour and finished? (just a thought)

Definitely an interesting direction

This things gunna be a wepon. Many years ago I had a clean yellow 2 door TA and sr20 or 13B turbo is what I wanted to do with it but I had to many cars and not enough room in the shed. When I sold it they weren't worth much more then the price of the parts that could be use to repair a 6 cylinder one. Most people have no imagination so it's awesome to see this car being done. When people see it it might start a stampede of fast four guys rushing out and buying 4 pot Torana's. Hurry up and get it done, cheers Aaron.

Hello Daryl

I have been following your thread with great interest, the LC 4cyl Coupe (baby Torana) have a lot of people scatching their heads when they see one (trying to work out what it is). I have one and it is a great car to drive, they are very hard to keep in a straight line when you transplant some HP under the bonnet.

Keep up the great work !!!!
