Just curious to know if anyone on here has or knows someone who has worked an alloytec v6. Being DOHC and all alloy engine, would be interesting to see what kind of figures people have made with them.
It seems like a good platform for some decent power.
Cheers

i've heard bad things...like rings going at 170-190k from the vy series oneswell apart from the usual commo mods lol. cams, stroker kits, itb's, forced induction etc just interested to see what's being done out there. you don't hear much about them

i'd avoid them and stick with the earlier iron 3.8 blocks if your doing a transplant

Probably a p plater thing... Otherwise completely agree..... And there is just something wrong with a holden six in a v shape.....
nah not a p plater anymore i have just always liked cool V6's. i think it has stemmed from my love of nsx's.
