Hi Guys,
I'm converting my 72 'S' to a 73 GTR, where should the aerial go? Roof or guard?
Cheers
Marty

Any roof mounted aerial on an LC/LJ Torana is an aftermarket item.

To get that authentic 80's look, break off the guard aerial, insert coat hanger and shape it into a map of Australia.

My Hilux has a tent peg in the aerial hole.

It moves around and doesn't look too flash but it gets the job done :spoton:

May have to go for a map of Aus or a shark now.

I'm going sun roof, roof mounted aerial and white lettering on the tyres just like they should have been from factory

i actually had mine on the roof but i removed it. You can buy hidden type aerials. I plan to fit one behind the glovebox or under it

The hole is already there.
Is the hole an optional extra? ie. no wireless.... no hole....
I did notice the hole getting welded up on a couple or rebuilds. Is this a looks thing?

hide it behind the glove box. IMHO Aerials on anything looks crap. Fill the existing hole in bro!

Consider it done. Less is more in my opinion.
