LH SLR 5000 trim colour query!

Hi All,
I am currently doing a resto on my LH SLR 5000 and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on my trim colours.
I picked it up many years ago, Blew my knee out a few years ago and had to sell it for some cash, I asked the bloke if he ever had to move it on to give me first bite back, since then jobs changed and what not and the guy I sold it to called me needing some cash so I bought it back (yeah)He still hadn't done anything to it, same as I sold it...
Anyway, My query : Code is 1881-19V, By the book it says Black long grain with Dark Ash golfball, Yet most 19V trims I have seen on LH are Black with Grey golfball.
The trim in it is shot, but the confusing part is the seats are what i think is dark ash inserts, Yet the door trims are Grey golfball inserts???? Something has been changed, But which?? :banghead:

Was this an option to have Grey Or Dark Ash or what??
Any light shed would be great as I want to do it original and have already spoken to Cools Auto Trims to do it, But need to know which before I go ahead??

Hi Tim
AMCS has a supposed "unrestored" 19V LH 5000 on it at the moment and has some interior shots and by them its shows the seats ash golfball the same as the trims

In the sticky in this interior section it has a trim colour chart
It shows VD 19V interior as black and ash

Would suggest contacting Norm (sloper35) with your querie to confirm

Thanks for that M8, I had seen that one on AMCS and had another chat with Steve at cools and seem to have sorted it.

Still in photos what is supposed to be Ash looks alot like Grey. :fool:
