It was a great turn out of cars today, one of the better car shows that I have been to in a long time.
You did a great job Brett in organising this event.
I was over the moon when I got back to the car to find I had won a trophy for tuff street.

Brett,
Well done for organizing, if it wasn't for guys like you these events wouldn't happen. Well done.
Macka
Cheers for the feedback Macka - it's great hearing that, and it makes all the effort worthwhile. I'm lucky enough to be involved with a great group of mates who share the same passion for cars, and are keen, willing, and motivated to organise shows such as this. Successful events, and positive feedback just get us pumped up even more!
Congrats on the trophy Tony!
Pics are starting to appear on the net.... here's a small selection to start off...

Would have loved to have made it.
I think the location is actually perfect. That car park is massive with plenty of room to expand.
Looks like a great day. I'll be there next year.

It was well organised and very relaxed. Well done Brett and the others.

Well done Brett on what looks like a fine show. Weather certainly held out for you too which was a bonus. Can't really see your pano Matt unless thats yours behind the orange SLR5000 above. I know you went because I seen you at the 7/11 on Sayers rd with that black XC coupe (above) in the morning. Would have stopped but was just passing by with my 2 boys.

And here's one of the non-steel bumper cars that was diverted to the alternate carpark for display.... it drew a fair of attention and is a pretty neat little ride in my opinion... it must hammer!

I didn't get any more shots of it myself other than the one above (I saw it leaving and hadn't got to it yet, so that's why I snapped that rushed shot), but I may have some from previous car shows. When I get a chance I'll see if I can dig anything up. Unless someone else has pics of it?? It's a bloody nice car

Still waiting for the car guys. We encountered a problem with the clutch fork which has set us back and caused me to have a melt down lol. Looking like a few more weeks yet unfortunately. Hopefully I get it back by next years show so I can join in the fun. Pics look awesome guys and I bet the show will be bigger and better next year. Might have to find a bigger area Brett if your 1st show is anything to go by.

Finally got the car back after 15 months. Engine bay is completed with the car running well. 1st day of driving the car it felt a bit odd but driving it today it feels like everything it settling in and the car is running a bit smoother. Loving the sound of the M22 gearset. Gave it a good spring clean today inside and out. Still running everything in so cant push it yet. Will put some pics up of the finished product when I get a chance later in the week. Matt, i'll catch up with you too soon mate.

Yeah guys its come up reasonably good. Still got a few little things to fix up like the fuel rail line is touching the top radiator hose which I can fix with a few 45deg fittings, there on order. Had to order another stud for the air filter, one that was 5/16 on the bottom and 1/4 at the top. Got the stud in the mail during the week and I had to cut it down. Tried to cut it with a hacksaw lol and no go, must have been hi tensile steel, eventually cut it with the grinder and all fixed.
Still wanna get some chrome bits and pieces to finish it off too but that will come over time. Might braid the hoses as well but will wait and see.
Cheers guys
