Is someone able to confirm the correct centre console colour for an LH SLR with trim code 62V?

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

Rob

This is nice!!! Lucky you didn't listen to me!!! Farken ell....!!!

This is floating around ebay atm.

Claims to be untouched, so it's a good candidate for the trim list.

It lists the trim code as 1885- 62V.

Here's a pic of the car if anyone is interested in the paint code:

Feel free to add to this list. One day we might be able to compile a list [with pictures] of ALL the trim codes. http://www.gmh-toran..._DIR#/smile.gif

Thanks gents, yep it's Doeskin interior but I was confused with the colour of the console as I read in Norms book that SLR had black consoles......my bad.

The posted photos are brilliant, thanks for that.

Now to find a console........
Anyone have a Doeskin centre console they are prepared to part with?

Cheers

This is my console I restored. I guess the colour changes a bit in the light.....

I media blasted it back to bare, then resprayed it chamois acrylic.

Not sure where you read "Black console" with 62V. See page 173 all 62 trims have Doeskin consoles. Only black is 19 Trims

Brad, I picked up some doeskin interior paint to colour code some trim plugs. I'll have a look in the shed tomorrow. I do remember that it wasn't actually doeskin by name but it was the closest I could find, and it is a very good match.

Hey Hanra, thanks for that, always good to know there are alternatives out there.

Brad the product I used was "3M Vinyl Paint - Buckskin". That was the closest colour i could find at the time and it was brought at Autobarn.

I can take a photo of trims against the kick panels if you want to see it against the Doeskin kick panels that I purchased off Cools.

I hope helps... Also I haven't painted anything else just these trim plugs.

Rob
