Is anyone able to post a photo of the back of an L34 headlight. I'm interested in the park light location and whether a rubber boot was provided. If so was it red/ orange or black/ grey?
Are these with offset parkers the go?

Im pretty moronic when it comes to L34 info, however as they used the 4cylinder style of headlights, I cant see why they would use a unique special type of headlight plug. There is nothing listed in the L34 Parts book about it...

So lets just assume its just the standard run of the mill Torana Headlight plug, which judging by the parts book is the same for rectangular and circular headlights.

Here is the plug as used on my car on rectangular sealed beams.

Errrr, L34 had sealed beams not Halogen headlamps, so the info Hanra has posted from the parts book for you would be typical for the sealed beam lamps.

Thanks, the diagram shows sealed beam lamps, I thought they were QH. I went through all the H4 threads, some of which I started in 2006 and there's heaps there about Narva lights not fitting well, Hella being adaptable, but nothing about Lucas. At the time the Lucas may have been unavailable. My buckets have a cut out at 7 o'clock. The Nissan patrol lights fitted currently don't have a parker and the Hella has the parker at 6 o'clock. EDIT: thanks spack. That sorts things out.

ps. Brad, the LH parts book that incorporates the L34 supplement has diff no.s for 4 cyl & 8 cyl round lights. What the difference would be is anyone's guess as it refers to all as sealed beam.
