and another thing Datto has done in the past,
is remove a post of mine after I placed in a Post I wanted to be there to replace it,
so no hard work needed on his behalf.

AFAIK, ALL red head's have the 1/2 bsp hole above no.5 ex port. If you have otherwise, I'm very keen to see it
EH - HR head's, had no lump inside no.5 ex port because that hole was used for the heater, not a temp sender.

Considering he ^ currently has my aforementioned head im going to assume it has the hole in it....
As above, keen to see picks.
Cheers.

Interesting...........The heater would have been an option? What triggered the temp light?AFAIK, ALL red head's have the 1/2 bsp hole above no.5 ex port. If you have otherwise, I'm very keen to see it

I have a 149 head from an EH, the bloke was selling engine parts after learning the car had been stolen and Police were good enough to let him remove the parts he'd fitted.
'H' at the very front over the thermostat housing, '7420109' between 2Exhaust and 2Inlet, 'HOLDEN' between 3I and 3E, 'D214' over 4I, '7' over 5I, no lumps/bumps in any ports, and the heater outlet is over the manifold stud ctr of cyl5.

do you know what head it is either 186-202 head.
Posted 03 November 2014 - 11:45 PM
Pressed in studs would make it a 186 head. 12 bolt holes along the top would make it a 202 head.
Posted 03 November 2014 - 11:49 PM
2811930 is a 173 low comp head and 202 high comp head.
Posted 04 November 2014 - 12:05 AM
