Hi guys.
Finally got a decent big nut and I've been cleaning up the lid. These are very hard to find with no pitting, mine is good but has some pitting.
What I've noticed is when you re-zinc the pitting becomes more visible. I'm happy with the natural look it has now with pitting not so obvious. Any way i can preserve this surface?
All I can think of is to keep it CRC'd
Clearing it doesn't work.

Hit it with a wire wheel, will become shiny then either paint in calliper paint or just clear coat it to stop rusting......
