Hi Guys,

Trying to decide on springs for my LJ GTR. Been reading a few threads on here and not much info showing pics of ride height along with the spring and tyre details.  So please help me out and post your side-on pic with any spring and tyre info so I only have to put those pesky front springs in once.

If you could also comment on ride/comfort, sits on bump stop etc and if you get the 100mm clearance under k frame to pass the pits.

Cheers

Marty

Yeah thanks Dave, read most of those. Wouldn't it be great to have one thread showing all these beautiful side on shots of little torries with all the info required to get that stance, and pigs will fly.

That's the way Marty,

real specific info for all to see:-

These both have the same 5/8 coil springs, and the fronts are 2" lowered, rears are standard height, but 5/8 coils thickness don't lower much from their strength.

Ride is solid and I ran a front and rear sway bar too, all little screws rattle lose, but these were Racing Cars.

All 13" x 60 profile - tops are 211's and bottom are 185's

some ride heights are preferences, and some are trial and error, and others are perfect.

I will try and find my other ones. Dave I

marty my GTR has 5.5 rims with 205's on the front and needs a spacer. Back fine.

pretty sure it's a standard suspension. looks like it's on stilts compared to other cars. But it rides nice with a bit extra travel.

When I bought my two door lj it had been fitted with pedders lowered springs all round.
Sat at nice height with 13" wheels ,not to low still had bump stop clearance .
Not sure on 100mm cross member height ,i think it would be very close.

Cheers Graham .
