Yes it sure is .
Reinforced lower control / suspension arms .
The K frame has got 2 sets of holes for locating the lower control arms .
The lower set of holes were used and these holes were stamped out at the factory and not drilled.
Hope this helps.

No caliper mounting spacers on the stub axles. Only spacers fitted between the caliper halves to suit the thicker discs.

Are you sure they are not stub axle spacers?
Yes they are caliper stub axle spacers but XU1's never had them.

Didnt the xu1's run wider discs and use a spacer as standard?

So what garbage are the sellers on ebay spinning regarding their use?

Question,
Isn't the lower hole sets in the XU1 'K' Frame,
be in the same position as the Standard LC/LJ 'K' frames.
so the Top holes for adjustment brings the top of the wheels in closer.

If my memory serves me correctly those stub axle to caliper spacers were used on the HK GTS.

No, the upper holes in the XU1 crossmember tower are same as S, SL & GTR. The lower holes are XU1 only.

Holden caliper spacer , ie stub axle spacer P/N is 2811049 .
You WON'T find this number listed in any of the LC/LJ parts catalogues .
You WILL find this number listed in the HT/HG parts catalogues because HT 350 GTS AND ALL HG disc brake vehicles regardless of engine displacement had increased thickness disc rotors that required the use of the 2811049 spacer .
There is no part number listed for the spacer that goes between the caliper halves of XU1's and the above vehicles .
Anyone wanting them before reproductions became available had to buy new complete calipers from Holden or get used calipers .

Great Thank's Dave,
Just thought the space above the Standard 'K' Frame holes, were for the XU1.
No, the upper holes in the XU1 crossmember tower are same as S, SL & GTR. The lower holes are XU1 only.
So looked around and found this link from Marty's Thread:-

So when ebay sellers describe them as being caliper to stub spacers, do they mean caliper halves?

No. Caliper to stub spacers fit where the caliper bolts onto the stub axle.

I know, but what im referring to is this:
These are a new pair of brake caliper to stub axle spacers, to suit the wider disc used on Torana XU1 and GTR ran these caliper spacers as standard, in addition to other applications.
For those of you who haven’t been able to work out why you can’t fit your brake pads into the caliper, this missing spacer may be your problem. Most were thrown away or lost years ago, that’s why we reproduced them from an original spacer. These have been made in zinc seal antirust coated steel as the originals were very prone to bad rust.
You can sometimes find second hand pairs, but these are for people who prefer a nice new rust free pair, ready to use.

The caliper spacers look like this (you'll find a good photo in Torana Tough as well if you have that, in the LC XU1 section).

Obviously the twits selling these (not applicable to Torana XU1 and most definitely not GTR) caliper to stub axle spacers haven't got a clue.

ok i think the fellers above have covered most of what you need to know
from the start of the CK XU1 in 1971 all xu1 front ends where the same apart from,,, bolts/nuts/springs and date codes, some had more wheel spacers then others
they all had caliper spacers to suit the thicker discs
they all had the 2 sets of holes even the 1970 model had these
all XU1S from the start of the CK XU1 had the reinforcement around the bottom ball joints
the thing that none of the xu1s had was these plate that are found on all other disc brake models
the other changers were brackets from year to year and code color blobs that can be seen in this pic.
here is a pic of the brackets on a 1970 lc xu1 mock up front end
i hope i and we have helped you.
cheers gong
