Can some one please tell me which hole in the fire wall the speedo cable should go through?

What car? Trimatics were in everything from a HT Holden through to a VL Commodore including some Toranas, Geminis and Coronas in between.

Grab a fist full of wires and rip em out 'cause the speedo cable has to go through that hole to line up correctly with the back of the speedometer.

Your auto sparky is going to be busy re-doing some re-wiring.
