Hi all, just got my exhaust fitted and things aren't where I thought they'd be.
This is a LJ GTR with an exhaust system from Brad M at XU-1 heav.
I've got a XU-1 system and cut off the double front pipes and had a single made up to the resonator.
I was under the impression the resonator went under drivers seat? This is where it ends up, is that correct?

Also clamping the muffler on the outer tail pipe as per manual makes the muffler too central in my opinion. This maybe correct and most people change it.

Keen to know what the correct from factory positions are.
Cheers
Marty

Marty, the Dealer Service Letter drawings show the resonator on the passenger side of the gearbox just as you have it installed.

You also have the rear muffler clamp set up as per the drawings so should be correct.

Edit: I thought you had a 1973 gearbox cross member to put in your LJ?

Get a v8 and you don't need brakes for a burn out :stirpot:

Martin
Your car looks very tidy on the underside. Looks like a good job.

Hi Marty,

That looks awsome, glad to hear the brakes are sorting out.

What tyres are you running?

Cheers Brian

Hi Brian, Eagers 225/60/13 rears and 205/60/13 fronts.  I was lucky enough to get an almost new set with the car.
