has anyone ever fitted a lc/lj torana asr street comp oil pan to a holden 6 with a sonic injection crank girdle? was wondering if the oil pan is a bolt on fit without any modifications due to the crank girdle.

Can't comment about the ASR sump but the std LC/LJ sump needs a massage where the studs are towards the front side of the sump.

Oh yeah, and I had to swap to the smaller ARP nuts for one of the studs.

There's not much depth left for the Allen key I can tell you.

So the pick up has been fabricated, welded to a flange that bolts from the inside to a steel block that is tapped for the dash 10 fitting on the outside, this goes to the pump. The original pick up hole has been tapped & plugged off.

I was wondering if you went external with the oil pick up pipe.

Is that pickup an off the shelf item and then modified to suit? Also what sort of clearance do you have between pickup and bottom of sump?
Thanks
