Wayne Quine finally succumbed to a long illness on Sunday night.  There is a wealth of information that has gone along with him as he was one of Australia's leading experts on all things L34. He taught me most of what I know on the subject.

Condolences to his family.

I had the pleasure of knowing Wayne and visiting him this year and am deeply saddened by his passing. Not only was he a guru on L34’s but he was a genuine nice bloke. He went out of his way to help me and impart some of his knowledge to me. Wayne’s family will miss him deeply as he was a devoted family man. My condolences to his family and all who knew him. Vale Wayne

Rest in peace my good friend,..I rang him on the 12/9/18 and spoke to him and told him to keep his faith and to stay strong,..he sent me a picture off his beautiful grand daughter as a lot of my conversations with Wayne were generally about family and sometimes sharing L34 knowledge..

''Wayne''suffered a lot in the last 12 months and spent most of the year in hospital in a lot of discomfort ..

God bless you buddy,..another good human being gone to rest...

My last conversation was the same Joe. Mainly talking about family and the good old days, but hardly mentioned Toranas at all. He was much more than just a name on the forum to many people.

Wayne was a true friend, he helped me in so many ways and both our families are very close, we had a lot of fun over the last 10 years or more. Wayne would ring once a week to see what im up to, and let me know whats happening, sadly the last 6mths the poor fellow had more than anybody could handle, but he never gave up, R.I.P Wayne,i am proud to be one of your many mates. I really hope our L34 and A9X community can continue to strengthen as Wayne wanted. cheers for now Gary
