Black flywheel have a different (bigger) pressure plate that probably wont fit in a red bellhousing.

You'll see in this pic that the holes are further apart. This means the PRESSURE PLATE is bigger and goes further back into the bellhousing.Found it http://www.gmh-toran...g-clutch-parts/

So I had the research and development team do some work on this today.
They found an old race motor with a blue clutch still attached.
They bolted a red bellhousing on, there were problems with the bolts bottoming out, but here are their results.
The blue clutch won't fit in a red motor bellhousing as it is too big.
Here are some pics, the R&D team also found out that red and blue/black bellhousing bolts are different lengths. I tried to get pics but the flash didn't show the scraping.

Well, I got into the garage and checked. I have a blue motor going into hatch. I forget why but I have a red flywheel and clutch assy to fit to motor and go into red bellhousing and M20. I might get excited and get he whole lot balanced. But then again,I am only going to rev it to 5000-5500 so it probly won't need balancing.
