If you get hold of a feb 74 LH parts book it will have XU2 stickers in it.Actually XU-2 was used by a Bedford truck..The pics of the SLR5000 with XU2 stickers was done by Zmood and the styling guys for presentation to Bagshaw and senior execs.

Adam it has been said that the strike me pink Prototype LJ V8 ended up in Tassie. Just how true this is im unsure. Maybe Allan (xu2308) maybe able to shed some further light on this.....................
I have also been told of another 08/72 strike me pink XU-1 which still resides in WA..................

how many smp xu1s and gtr made theres a guy in the xu1 club over here with one/because of the colour i wouldnt think to many sold
